Education Instructional Design II Ed 449 
Pre-requisite: 
Ed 448 
Objectives:
1. The student will further develop a repertoire of instructional skills in planning and executing additional classroom experiences.
2. The student will become aware of, and to the extent possible and desirable implement various teaching models in the field classroom.
3. The  student will understand, interpret, and design various assessment procedures to improve instruction.
4.The student will become more skilled in the use of electronic media to research, plan, and present lessons effectively.
5. Student will videotape and critique their own teaching episodes, and the teaching of others.
6. The student will be made aware of subject specific methodology related to his/her subject field.
Methods of Conducting Class: 
1. Class discussion and interaction
2. Visits to classrooms as a basis for recognition of application of teaching skills
3. Presentation and analysis of videotaped lessons
4. Modeling of several teaching methods (Cooperative learning; Direct Teaching, etc.)
5. Sharing of Field Experience observations
Methods of Student Evaluation:
1. Analyses of Videotapes --- 3 Analyses and Reports( 30%)
2. Lesson Plans(2) and Videotaped lesson(1)  (30%)
3. Field experience ---  Assigned Task 2 and Cooperating teacher report/Field Supervisor's Grade.(30%)
4. Final Exam (10%)
