Hotel le Dome - Brussels This was our hotel in Brussels, Hotel le Dome 1. There was another hotel several doors down called Hotel le Dome 2.

The area just to the left of the front door was the restaurant / bar where we had breakfast everyday, dinner several times and more than one nightcap.

Professors O'Rourke and Noone count down the time until the Euro becomes the currency of the European Union.

This clock was about a block from our hotel in Brussels in the opposite direction of the Grote Markt aka The Grand Place.

This is one of the many pedestrian walkways that branch off from the Grand Place.

There countless small shops and restaurants tucked in these walkways.

We couldn't say we visited Brussels if we didn't come back with at least one photo of this little guy.

Manneken Pis is one of Brussels most noted citizens.

Henri, John and the bus This photo was taken at the shopping mall on our way back to the hotel after our day in Brugge.

Jean our driver is on the left and Henri our guide is on the right. By the end of the trip we all believe that Jean could drive his bus through the eye of a needle, on a dark rainy night, with his eyes closed.
This is the memorial plaque to Evrard Serclaes, a Belgium hero who was murdered in the Grote Markt on March 31, 1388.

Legend has it that anyone who touches Evrard's arm will be happy for year, and if it is a woman she will marry within the year.
