Sp201 reviews the study of the basic structure of Spanish with an emphasis on listening, speaking, reading, writing, and culture.

ATTENDANCE

          It is expected that students will attend all classes. More than three absences may adversely affect your grade.  You are evaluated on your performance and preparedness in each class.  You are responsible for the work whether or not you missed the previous class, so always be prepared with the assignment.

 

GRADES

          Your grade is based on effort, attendance, class participation, preparation of assignments, quizzes, exams, and competence in Spanish.  You should be spending 6 – 9 hours per week outside of class studying and preparing.

·        B   Good work

·        C   Acceptable, average work

·        D   Below average, but passing
