Welcome!

The links on the left lead to course descriptions for the semester courses and supporting materials.  Favorite Links leads to sites of personal interest to me, including the web page for our Caldwell Dominican congregation.

My scholarly interests include the history and structure of the English language, all aspects of medieval culture, and Shakespeare.  Currently I am exploring anew the dialogue between mystics and religious poets in fourteenth-century England, and the insights available when their works are studied in the light of of twentieth century literary criticism.

Instructional technology has long been part of my teaching.  Learning management software is a component of each of my courses. This web page  changes to supplement what is available through this program.
